Known by some as the saviour of British basketball after his commitment to the team in 2007, leading them from the cellar of FIBA Division B to Division A on their first attempt, and then qualification for Eurobasket 2009. Deng is the do it all man for Team GB. Plays for the NBA’s Chicago Bulls. His GB career high 31 points in a single game. He moved to London aged 9 as an asylum seeker from war-torn Sudan.
